FOR FALL/WINTER REGULAR SEASON
- Skaters may buy out their fundraising commitment at the time of registration in the amount of $100 per fundraising commitment for PreCanSkate, CanSkate and ITS, or $200 for StarSkate.
- If you choose to buyout at any point throughout the season after registration, the buyout fee is $150 per fundraising commitment for PreCanSkate, CanSkate and ITS, or $250 for StarSkate.
- If you choose not to buy out and do not fulfill your fundraising commitment, you will be charged $200 per unfulfilled fundraising commitment for PreCanSkate, CanSkate and ITS, or $300 for StarSkate.
- Fundraising commitments are capped at 5 per family.
- All fundraising buyouts will be charged to the credit card on file. All unfulfilled fundraising commitments will be charged to the credit card on file.
- PreCanSkate and CanSkate require 1 FUNDRAISING COMMITMENT for the entire year (fall and winter). If you choose, you may buy this out.
- PowerSkate programs do not require a fundraising commitment
- Each of the following programs requires a specific number of fundraisers based on the program duration and number of skate times each week.
ITS (Intro to STARSkate) = 1 fundraiser for Fall; 1 fundraiser for Winter
(Note: CanSkate participants who move up to ITS for the Winter session will be required to fulfill an additional fundraising requirement)
Junior STARSkate
Junior STARSkate 2 days/week = 2 fundraisers
Junior STARSkate 3+ days/week = 3 fundraisers
(Note: ITS participants who move up to Junior for the Winter session will be required to fulfill an additional fundraising requirement at the Junior rates - $200 to buyout at registration, $250 for a midseason buyout, $300 for unfulfilled fundraising commitment)
Intermediate/Senior STARSkate
Intermediate/Senior STARSkate 2 days/week = 2 fundraisers
Intermediate/Senior STARSkate 3+ days/week = 3 fundraisers
Fundraising Options and Volunteer Opportunities will be offered throughout the year and more information will be provided during the first couple weeks of classes. Fundraising commitments are only completed when the specified amount is reached (for example, if $100 is required to be raised for a Skate-a-thon, credit will only be given when $100 is fundraised).
You can also fulfill ALL your fundraising commitments by joining the Board of Directors or our Carnival Committee. The Club’s success depends on its members volunteering their time to make it work! If you are interested in joining the Board, talk to a current Board Member, or email president@leducskating.com.
